Gift Card Holders

These are a couple of gift card holders that I made with the Wild Card Cartridge using the "All in One" card. This first one I made a band to go around it and decorated it with the sweet pea from the New Arrival cartridge.

This one I decided to decorate right on the card. The cupcake is from the Celebrations cartridge.

Teen Girl Birthday Card using Wildcard

I found the cutest package of My Big Ideas paper at Michaels last week that had a teen girl theme. Needed a birthday card for one of Kaileigh's friends so I decided to try another card off of Wildcards.

"Happy Birthday to you" cupcake card.

My friend from work's birthday is tomorrow so I made her this card tonight. She loves cupcakes. I used the Celebrations cartridge for the cupcake, Don Juan cartridge for the heart, and the paper is from the Sweet stack by DCWV. I think I will start doing more projects now. It was fun making this tonight. I really have missed my time to scrap.

Sorry I disappeared... Here are some new projects...

Here a couple of projects that I have worked on. Me and the girls have recently moved and I no longer have my own scrapbook area, so now I have to drag everything out and put it all away when I am done which deters me a lot of times for actually scrapping. I am hoping to get back into the swing of things now that the girls and I are all settled in.

Doesn't she look just beautiful? It turned out to be a great day and she did wonderful, considering how nervous she was.

U R Here Card

I made this card using Graphically Speaking for "UR Here" and the arrow, the heart is from DonJuan, the lacy border is a Martha Stewart border punch, EK Sucess photo corner punch, and I used a couple of Studio G Valentine stamps. This one is a little different style than I am used to. Not quite sure I like it or not.

I Love to Re-do Old Furniture...

I've always wanted to make a cushion for this bench and then I went from there. I bought each of these pillows at Walmart on clearance for $3 each (cheaper than buying the forms at Joanns) and used some fabric I had stored to make the pillow covers. I also had enough fabric left over to make a matching ottoman cover.

I painted this old sewing cabinet and chair and recovered the seat of the chair.

Lucky In Love St. Patty's Day Card for Design Team

Our challenge was to make a St Patrick's Day Project with our Cricut. This is what I decided to do.

Black and White Challenge for the Whimsicle Scraps and Bugs Design Team

The challenge was to use black and white with a splash of color and to use the word spring on our project. Along with a little bling. Instead of doing a traditional "spring" theme, I decided to use the word spring in a saying on the card. I used the DonJuan and Storybook cartridges.

Love Cupcake Shaped Card

I made this card for the recent design team challenge at Whimsiclescrapsandbugs. Our challenge was to make a Valentine's Day card and to use ribbon. I used the Celebrations cartridge for the cupcake, Don Juan for the heart, and Design Studio to weld the cupcakes together to make a shaped card.

Wordbook that I made for a Christmas gift...

I know this posted backwards but I don't have the energy to fix it right now. So, last page first is how it goes. LOL

This is a gift that I am giving for Christmas this year. I don't have to worry if the recipient will see this or not because she doesn't even know that I have a blog. LOL

I Love Don Juan!

Me and a friend of mine decided to trade cartridges for a little while and she let me use her Don Juan. I have to have this cartridge. This font is my absolute favorite! It is so me. So this is what I have made so far with it...

The cupcake is from the Celebrations cartridge, "Birthday Wishes" is from Don Juan and welded with Design Studio, and the little heart is from Don Juan as well. I also used the threading water punch for the borders.

I plan on stock piling a bunch of these cuts so that I can make so many more of these cards. I am obsessed.

Yummy Pumpkin Bread Recipe

I made this mini loaves of Pumpkin Bread this morning. I decided to add chocolate chips to 1/2 of the batch. I took some to work and everybody loved them! I found the recipes on Allrecipes.com.
Here's the recipe for those who are interested...

PUMPKIN BREAD (makes 3 loaves)

3 cups canned pumpkin puree
1- 1/2 cups vegetable oil
4 cups white sugar
6 eggs
4- 3/4 cups flour
1- 1/2 tsp baking powder
1- 1/2 tsp baking soda
1- 1/2 tsp salt
1- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1- 1/2 tsp ground cloves

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour three 9x5 loaf pans.

2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin, oil, sugar, and eggs. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves; stir into the pumpkin mixture until well blended. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.

3. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. The top of the loaf should spring back when lightly pressed. If making mini loaves- cook time is 30 to 35 minutes.

Christmas Cookie Recipe Book- Design Team Project

Our challenge was to make and album out of jumbo playing cards and to use any Cricut Christmas cuts with lots of bling. I decided to make a Christmas cookie recipe book with our favorite recipes to give to my oldest DD. This is what I came up with...

*Boo* Treat Set made with Design Studio

I used made this bakery box and welded "Boo" together using my Design Studio. The boo goes over the window on the box. I originally made a layout for Whimsical Scraps and Bugs- but I wasn't too crazy about it. So I made this card and the set to go with it.

Fall Word Book ***Project for New Design Team***

I haven't announced it yet, so here's my news... I was chosen to be on a new design team for Whimsicle Scraps and Bugs. Our first challenge was due this weekend. We needed to use the colors red, brown, yellow, and orange.

I used Plantin Schoolbook and Mickey and Friends.

Baby girl dress book made with DS

Here's another version of the dress album that I made a couple of months ago. It is smaller and there is no BIA used.
