Happy Birthday Mini Album

This is the toilet paper roll mini Album that I decided to try last weekend. I went thru my stash and used some embellishments that I have had for a while. The only Cricut that I used for this was the tag inserts. Sometimes I feel like I should always be using my Cricut which is why I have such a large stash. My goal is to begin using more of what I have stored up.
The rub-0ns are American Crafts, ribbon is American Crafts and some I found at the Dollar Tree, the birthday embellishments are Miss Elizabeth's that I also found at the Dollar Tree a couple of years ago, the jumbo eyelets are from American Crafts, the paper is from a Me & My Big Ideas Teen stack, and the journaling stamp I got on clearance from Michael's a couple of month's ago.
I have a few more tp rolls and I think I will be trying this one out again. :)

A Couple More Cards using Straight from the Nest

I made a little time to do some cardmaking today after a day of scrapbook shopping. I bought a couple of EK Success border punches- I used one of them on these two cards. The stamp that says "Living the Sweet Life" was $1 at Michaels. I bought a couple more stamps- Elephants- my youngest daughter's favorite, some clearance paper at Hobby Lobby, and some Disney paper I found at Tuesday Morning. Now I just need to get my photos developed from our Disney trip in February so I can start scrapping.

Chickie cards made with Straight from the Nest

I splurged and bought the Straight from the Nest cartridge from HSN. I've finally gotten to post what I made last weekend. I started a new job last week and am trying to get used to the new schedule and finding time to get things done. So here is what I made. I love this cartridge and can't wait to find more time to play.
