Finally... I had time to play! Here are a couple of new cards for ya...

I have a few new cartridges that I had not been able to put to use yet, so I decided to sit down this morning before work and make a couple of cards with them.

I thought this little Monster was kinda cute. You can find him on the B is for Boy Cricut Lite cartridge. The card shape is two shapes from Lacy Labels Cricut Lite cartridge welded together. I also pull out my new Polka Dot Cuttlebug 5x7 embossing folder to use on his belly. I also have been itching to use my sewing machine, so I pulled that out too. Seeings that I have two girls making a little boy card was a little different for me.

A close up view of the little monster...

My 10yo convinced me to buy Rock Princess. I really liked the phrases on there. I picked this one to make a little card for her- she is gone away for the week so I thought I would surprise her when she comes home. Again, I pulled out my sewing machine and did some stitching around the border, used lots of pop dots, and ran the little boy thru my Xyron sticker maker and used my fine white glitter on it.

And here is a close up of the layers, stitching, and glitter...
