Fall Word Book ***Project for New Design Team***

I haven't announced it yet, so here's my news... I was chosen to be on a new design team for Whimsicle Scraps and Bugs. Our first challenge was due this weekend. We needed to use the colors red, brown, yellow, and orange.

This is the project I designed on my Design Studio for the challenge...
I used Plantin Schoolbook and Mickey and Friends.

Here's a new wordbook that I designed this weekend. I loved the Star frame on JOTS and decided to use it as the back page of the wordbook.

Baby Girl Mini-Album

Here's the new mini album that I made this weekend. I found the instructions for it at the Scrapbook Lounge- I modified it a bit, though. Pretty easy to make and I love the end result. I've made 2 of them but the other is not finished yet. It's 6x12 and still needs to be embellished. I didn't use too much Cricut on it- just for a few embellishments, the library pocket, and the circle pull tab.

I've been thinking of opening an etsy shop. Not quite sure, though. I've seen some of the things on there and mine does not compare. But like I tell my girls, "You'll never know unless you try". Maybe I should take my own advice.

Birthday Card for 3 Year Old

Here's a card I put together today. I've had the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge for a while now and haven't really used it. So, I decided to try out the card feature and card frames. This is what I came up with. The jumbled three is from my new Graphically Speaking cartridge. I found an envelope that fit on Walk in My Garden. The card and the envelope were cut at 4 inches.

Binder for our family Schedules, Calenders, and School Stuff- made with Design Studio

I made this binder so that I could have all of the handouts, schedules, afterschool activities, bills, takeout menus, and frequently used phone numbers all in one place. The plain white cover was bothering me so I decided to make this cover. I made the house with the George cartridge and Design Studio. I love these papers- it's a MME stack that I bought at Hobby Lobby when we went to Myrtle Beach this summer. There's not one sheet in that stack that I would not use. LOVE THEM ALL!!!

New design I made with Design Studio- Skull & Crossbones with Hairbow

**Altered version**

I designed this skull for Kaileigh's bedroom door. I still think that it needs a little something. Maybe some black stitching. I'm not sure yet. I will post the altered project when I finish it.

I used George, and Plantin Schoolbook, and the bow is from Paper Pups.

Boy Bib Overall Album

Here's a mini album that I made with my Design Studio, Bind-it-all, and Expression.

• The little dog on the pocket is my daughter's Cuttlekids die.
• In order to make the t-shirt, I used the onesie on the new arrival cartridge and welded a square from george to it- moving the onesie down on the screen so that the bottom part does not cut.
• The inside album is made of 6x6 sheets of chipboard.
• I then used the red tacky tape to glue the book to the front and back covers.
• The white spaces on the pages are 4x6 so that a photo can be adhered over that spot.
• I have pop dotted all of the embellishments so that the picture can slide right under.

I hope this makes sense to you.

There are more pages but I didn't want to bore you with all of them.

Baby Girl Dress Shaped Album made with Design Studio

This album is approximately 10 1/2 inches tall. The papers are from My Mind's Eye. Embellishments are assorted... primas, chipboard embellishments from the Dollar Tree, EK Success photo corner punch, and a Martha Stewart Border punch.

I really enjoyed making this one.

Here are a few cards and a wordbook I designed with Design Studio.

Sorry it's been so long. We got back from Myrtle Beach a couple of weeks ago and then everybody in my house has taken a turn getting sick since we've been home. It's my turn now. It usually works that way. I'm well while everyone else is sick so I can take care of them and then it's my turn and I am still expected to do it all. I haven't much of a voice left- my own mother didn't even know she was talking to me on the phone this morning. It's got to be bad.

Here's the mini album that I have been working on all week. I decided to include all of my favorite quotes. The album shape was made with the Cricut and I used my bind-it-all. I used several cartridges to make it... Accent Essentials, Plantin Schoolbook, Happily Ever After, George, Opposites Attract, and Design Studio. I challenged myself and tried to use some of the embellishments I have had in my stash for awhile.
